Choosing a stroller is a serious decision, not to mention a huge commitment. I have gone back and forth between the Orbit G3 system, the UPPAbaby Vista, and now I’m even considering the Mamas and Papas Urbo2. They are all pretty versatile and in the $700-$1,100 range all pieces considered.
The Orbit G3 system, all pieces are sold separately and you can mix and match everything, I’m talking stroller base $460, bassinet $200, infant seat $440, stroller seat $200, expansion for 2 kids, etc. You pretty much pick any pieces you need, but if you do want to do the infant system, you must choose the Orbit G3 infant seat. I would go with all black in this system.
The UPPAbaby Vista comes with the stroller seat and the bassinet for about $725. Not a bad deal. My choice- all black. Then you have the option of purchasing their infant seat or you can buy an adapter and pretty much choose any seat you want. My current infant seat pick is the Nuna Pipa. This stroller also has the expansion for 2 kids option.
The Mamas and Papas Urbo2 was just released early this year. It’s pretty sleek and I am sort of loving the navy option. The stroller is $579, the bassinet is $219. It puts it in the same range as the Vista- well I guess a bit more expensive. I can also get the adapters for this stroller to add the infant seat of my choosing. The only downside I am finding is there is no expansion option.
Oh the choices.
